We have actually had the info on our web site for quite some time. The only reason I spoke up yesterday was because I happened to pop on the board and saw the information posted that I believe to be wrong. The statement was that Iridium plugs were bad for turbo application engines period. Since the release of Iridium plugs, NGK has said they were best for N20 and high boost engines. As far as for the Z32 specifically, I did receive the same poor info on my first contact with NGK. The fact that the Z32 had a Z32 only plug made for it from the factory led the less knowledgeable techs to give up too easy. We have not modified any of the heads on our cars or customers in the spark plug area. When Screwing a stock TT plug into a head that is off the car, The stock TT spark plug protrudes past the threads in the head. If you screw one of the Iridium plugs into a stock TT head , the spark plug threaded area is just about level with the head. The electrode and ground strap are fully in the combustion chamber.
